The Tap Dance: A new Microbrewery wanting to shop local and focus on building the community, coming to Belmont Center Belmont will always be our little town where friends meet together on weekends or weekdays to share drinks and just spend time with the ones we love. It was not until 2006, when Belmont allowed the sale of alcohol, that our dream of serving our town could become a reality. We love IPA, gluten-free beer, local beer, but most importantly “family-owned” at The Tap Dance.  Welcome to The Tap Dance The microbrewery industry has changed, which means we need to change as well. No one wants to go to a microbrewery to just grab a case and leave. People want to connect with the people around them and feel the experience of sharing a locally made beer with their friends and family. Coming to Belmont Center, the Tap Dance will be a microbrewery and cafĂ© where people can share food and drinks with friends and family.  The shop will include different styles of IPA, gluten-free be

My Relationship With Technology

My Relationship With Technology Whether we like it or not, technology is something that will be around forever and has drastically changed how we live our daily lives. If you could tell the founding fathers that you could call someone from across the world and talk to them on a small device, they would say that you are crazy.  The concept of technology is fascinating because it dates back to ancient times. The earliest examples of technology would be humans discovering how to make fire. It is weird to think about fire being a technology, but by definition technology refers to the “practical application of knowledge in a certain area.” Theoretically a lot of things in our daily lives could be classified as technology. Looking at it this way I would say that technology has 100% impacted my life in a positive way because without it the standard of living that we are all accustomed to would never exist. Of course there are downsides to technology. I feel that the more modern day social tec

Ken Ilgunas Discussion

Class Discussion Our class discussion with Ken Ilgunas about the first amendment and how it plays a role in our lives was very interesting and I felt that I learned a lot. I found that it was very cool to hear from Ken’s experiences and how they shaped him into the man that he is today. One of the things that we talked about that I found to be the most interesting was near the end of our chat when Ken talked about his experience and the laws that have been put in place since the COVID-19 pandemic. As we all know we are experiencing a global pandemic right now that is the first of its scale since the Spanish Flu 100 years ago . The Spanish Flu had three different “waves” and had a massive death toll of over 50 million people . Fast forward to 100 years to 2021 and the world is a much different place. The Spanish Flu was predominantly in Europe unlike COVID-19 which is affecting the entire globe. Countries around the world are taking many different measures to insure the safety of the
